Don't sweat the speed part - To put this dent into perspective....Even if that dent was a wholesale $30. dent to a dealer, in 25 minutes your labor was over $60. hr. You should be proud of that one, looks like it was done right - GOOD JOB.

Thanks, I have been focusing on my knockdown speed, which is usually what slows me down. It's amazing how much more efficient you can be with the correct knockdowns and proper hammer.

It takes a wile to get fast and accurate with hammer+knockdown it's all muscle memory and finding the right hammer that is balanced to your likening. I got 3-4 hammers that sit in a tool bag untouched that I spent good money on (2 snap-on$$$$. And a few no names )

Just curious what tool/tip are you using on these dents And the dents looking good nice work I mainly use a ball tip and bullet tip double bend rods. For bracing I have some small diameter wire tools. (This dent was 1/2 under a brace I might add Once I start doing some jobs this year I'll be picking up some whale tails. So far all the money I have made on pdr (and then some) has gone right back in to better tools and better training. I'm hoping this summer I can get in the black and start making money. :-)

whale tails are great and shaved tool will work well too. I think dentcraft makes the best whales and shaved tools depends what you want dentcrafts shaved tools have a shorter kick but work well under bracing wile ultras shaved tools have a longer kick work well in tight areas with some wiggle room both are great tools
