im looking for ideas got to get some kind of tool holder for my rods something i can carry and make it so they all have a spot. i want to be able to glance at it and know i didn't leave any behind. getting sick of a pile of tools on the floor.

I had a snow board bag to put my tools in and it sucked - The only thing that I can think of to use would be some kind of a mobile rolling utility cart - Not easy to move but with the right tires and a way to anchor it in your vehicle- might be the best set up. The problem with putting your stuff in a bag or a case, is you end up working on the ground. I think it would be better to carry too many tools, than not enough.

i got a gun case works good i keep all my hand tools whale tails and picks in it. but the dam rods are a pain in ass to keep moving around i only use a half dozen on a daily basis but got to have the rest never know what I'm getting into working the body shop Attachments:

I found this at our local good will store. $12 and I love it. I also have a gun case for the not everyday but stlii cant get rid of them tools. Attachments:

Hey guys, I use a golf bag flight case. I have drilled holes in the sides and installed elastic bands to hold some of my tools. Also bought a small storage bin and installed it in the lid. It's a nice thing I keep my knock downs, soft tips, etc in. Check out the pics. Attachments:

I like the golfbag idea. I actually bought a Outdoor tool storage rack at Lowes for around 30 bucks. One that has a bunch of holes you can slide shovels in. I threw it on a set of casters and it works really well around the garage. Hers a picture of what it looks like with a bunch of tools in it. Had the camera on HDR so it looks a little goofy. But you get the point.
