Do you have any experiance with DentMagic PDR tools? Looks good on the homepage www.dentmagictools.comI am about to buy a package from a PDR company that is out of business. They bought a complet package for 2.500 dollar exclusive freight and custom/taxes which made the price 40% more expensive. The price is now 700 dollar for 60-70 tools which is very tempting even if I might not need all of them.

You answer your own question may you don need all of them, when I started on this bussines I bought the Dentcraft company set and I can tell you I did a mistake because for what I seen they put a lot the tools you really almost never used, I do my job now with different tools from different brands, when you running into this, each situation tell you which tool you need, so in few words to me is no good idea buy a tool set, because each company make different stuff, you can buy separate tools from different company it can be ultra, dentcraft, a-1, blehm, dent gear, and my favorite pdr finesse I own tools from all them. this is my opinion and good luck.

Could not resist the bargain but thanks for your advice. I also got a lot of glue pulling stuff, hood props, door jammers, drills and plugs - my garage is now filled up. I have PDR Finesse also and like their door tools a lot.

It's no secret that tool sets are not the best option, however $700 for half the set is still a deal. If you decide to get them, do not be afraid to grind different tips or bend them differently to get the most out of ALL the tools....

I did some dents yesterday and it worked fine. It is not as strong metal as PDR finesse and the whailtails where trash. But still there is loads of tools to get me started and I guess these will not be my favorites in 3 years. Still I can reach most dents now which was impossible with only handfull of tools. I will tweak them if needed

Some update on my experience with DentMagic. I am very pleased with the set. It is very nice to have tools in almost any shape and length. I love the two flatbars. Lot of handtools and shorter tools as well. Drill set works perfect. All of the thinner tools are bendable. The longer whail tails where to weak but nice to cut glue with. All in all a good purchase for me
